QSC Audio Products is pleased to announce that Paul Brink has joined the company as Cinema Sales Engineer. In his new role, Brink will be responsible for support the sales efforts of QSC cinema dealers and end users (theaters, cinemas, studios, etc.) by providing product training, technical and sales support.

Paul has an extensive background in the cinema post-production business.  Paul worked for several years at Lucasfilm, Ltd., as Systems Engineer for the THX Digital Mastering program.  His credits include Star Wars I, for which he supervised telecine, quality assurance and theatre set-up for the digital cinema release.  Prior to joining QSC, Paul was Re-Recording Engineer/Sound Editor at 20th Century Fox Studios in Century City, CA, where he was responsible for the final digital audio file used for DVD, Blu-ray, digital delivery and archive.  Brink has a degree in Media Arts from the College of the Canyons.

“Having spent much of my career in the post-production environment, I’m thrilled at the opportunity to use my experience to help theatre operators deliver the original creative intent of modern digital cinema, with the best possible quality,” says Brink.  “That requires top-quality cinema sound equipment, designed and installed as a total system, from server to the speakers.  Only QSC has the complete solution to be able to deliver that, and I’m proud to be part of that solution.”
