Erin & the Project On the Road with QSC
Original music duo Erin & the Project discuss using QSC K10 powered loudspeakers on tour.
Introducing Erin & The Project, an original music duo combining soul, R&B, pop, funk and jazz influences. All E & the P songs feature powerhouse female vocals (comparative to Adele and Joss Stone) and melodic grooves that leave you in the afterglow. They are a full-time touring act, and big fans of QSC.
Paul and Erin Ezekiel have been entertaining audiences around the US since 2008. They play at all different types of venues: rock clubs, wine tasting rooms, breweries, restaurants, festivals and everything in between. In most recent months they have signed with Track Shack Records/House of Hansen Productions, located in Sacramento, CA. This exciting new project is in collaboration with, and being produced by, Jeff Tamelier (guitarist from Tower of Power) and Peter de Leon (Petey Wunder). They have also launched a new online video series called, “On The Road w/ Erin & The Project,” a video travel blog, that combines footage from both live shows and behind the scenes of their travels on the road.
Besides a variety of self-produced recorded demos, their first official album release, BIRTHDAY, was recorded by Grammy award winning engineer/mixer, Oz Fritz (Tom Waits, Bill Laswell, etc.). He agreed, very generously, to record them in their living room for the full session. After releasing the album, they decided to take a leap of faith and start touring full time. They purchased a van, put all their furniture in a storage unit, and hit the road.
E & the P switched to QSC K10 powered loudspeakers after hearing QSC speakers in a variety of venues during their travels around the US. “The QSC K10 speakers have an incredible warmth to them. Most of our live duo shows include vocals, keyboard, and Roland V-Drums. These speakers create a perfect blend in any venue setting. We also love the roadworthy quality. They are easy on the load in, and they hold up great!”
Erin & The Project are still out on tour. Check their website (www.erinandtheproject.com) to find out the next time they come to your town.
