QSC LS118 The active subwoofer system shall incorporate a direct radiating 460 mm (18-inch) cone transducer mounted into a reflex-ported enclosure. The subwoofer system shall have a built-in Class D amplifier delivering 4000 watts of peak power for the low-frequency transducer. The subwoofer system shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 41 Hz to 98 Hz (minus 6 dB) and 35 Hz to 111 Hz (minus 10 dB); peak sound pressure level of 138 dB, measured at 1 meter on axis, in half space using Pink noise, Crest factor 10 dB unweighted; nominal coverage shall be omnidirectional with the possibility to implement a cardioid radiation pattern using a min of two subwoofer units. The subwoofer shall have digital audio-over-IP (Dante®) capabilities for interoperability with other audio equipment and control/monitoring integration into the Q-SYS environment. It shall also be able to communicate essential setup information to the user via the subwoofer’s rear user interface (RUI) or via the System Navigator (SysNav) software app. The subwoofer shall have a parallelipipedic enclosure constructed of 15 mm birch plywood. It shall have a black (RAL 9011) finish. Connectors shall be male and female balanced XLR for analog audio in and thru; dual RJ45 Neutrik EtherCON for networked audio and control and dual Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 for AC power Inlet/Outlet. The subwoofer shall have four built-in M10 and two built-in M20 attachment points. The system shall have four heavy–duty, low noise 4-inch casters mounted on its rear panel. The front of the subwoofer system shall be protected by a perforated 16 GA powder coated steel grille. The subwoofer system's enclosure shall be 640 mm (25.2 in) high, 520 mm (20.5 in) wide and 790 mm (31.1 in) deep. The subwoofer system shall weigh no more than 50 kg (110 lb) including casters. The direct radiating, active subwoofer system shall be the QSC LS118.
