Ohm

A unit of measure of electrical resistance. Named after Georg Simon Ohm, who identified the direct correlations among voltage, current, and resistance. Symbol: ω

Ohm's Law

Describes the relationship between Current, Voltage and Resistance in an electrical circuit. It states that 'Current is directly proportion to Voltage and Inversely proportion to Resistance. [ I = V / R ]

Output Averaging Short Circuit Protection

A patented QSC design that protects the amplifier's output circuitry if it tries to drive into a short circuit or an extremely stressful load.

Overload

A condition where the existing signal level exceed the capabilities of a device, causing an undesired effect, like distortion.

Oversampling

The process of using a sample rate higher than necessary. This is done to allow the anti-aliasing filters to have a gentler slope. Over sampling is often used in conjunction with noise shaping.

Phase Linear

It describes a circuit, which has a constant delay at all frequencies. It does not introduce any phase distortion.
