Line Array Systems ILA Series

The 2 1/2-way line array system shall incorporate dual 8 inch cone transducers with 2 inch voice coils and neodymium magnets, and a 1.0-inch exit 1.75 inch titanium diaphgram compression driver with a neodymium magnet mounted to a multiple aperture diffraction waveguide. The low frequency drivers shall be loaded into a ported enclosure. The line array system shall have a passive internal crossover network with switchable bi-amp / tri-amp operation.

The line array system shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 80 Hz to 20.0 kHz ±3 dB, measured on axis; low frequency sensitivity of 96.0 dB SPL in free field at 1 meter with an input of 2.83V and high frequency sensitivity of 106.0 dB SPL; continuous low frequency output of 122 dB SPL and high frequency output of 126 dB SPL; peak low frequency output of 128 dB SPL and high frequency output of 132 dB SPL; low frequency power handling of 400 watts for two hours with IEC-specified noise in bi-amp mode or 200 watts (x2) in tri-amp mode; high frequency power handling of 100 watts; recommended low frequency amplifier power of 800 watts in bi-amp mode or 400 (x2) in tri-amp mode and recommended high frequency amplifier power of 200 watts; nominal low frequency impedance of 8 ohms in bi-amp mode or 16 ohms (x2) in tri-amp mode and nominal high frequency impedance of 16 ohms. The line array system's nominal horizontal nominal coverage between -6 dB points shall be 140 degrees; vertical coverage shall be dependent on the line array configuration.

The loudspeaker shall have a trapezoidal / elliptical enclosure constructed of high impact polystyrene with a UV protectant. It shall have a black or white paintable finish. Input connectors shall be parallel wired Neutrik NL8 SpeakOns. The line array system shall have an integral side plate adjustable rigging system; vertical splay shall be adjustable in 1 degree increments from 0 to 10 degrees. The front of the line array system shall be protected by a perforated formed aluminum grill.

The line array system's enclosure shall be 11.8 in (30.0 cm) high, 27.0 in (68.6 cm) wide and 13.4 in (34.0 cm) deep. The loudspeaker shall weigh no more than 37.0 lb (16.8 kg).

The line array subwoofer shall incorporate a 15 inch cone transducer with a 4 inch voice coil, The low frequency driver shall be loaded into a 4th order bandpass enclosure.

The line array subwoofer shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 35 Hz to 112.0 Hz ±10 dB, measured on axis; sensitivity of 96.0 dB SPL in free field at 1 meter with an input of 2.83V; continuous output of 96.0 dB SPL; peak output of 130 dB SPL; power handling of 650 watts for two hours with IEC-specified noise; recommended amplifier power of 1300 watts; nominal impedance of 8 ohms.

The loudspeaker shall have a rectangular enclosure constructed of 18 mm thick Baltic birch plywood. It shall have a black or white paintable finish. Input connectors shall be parallel wired Neutrik NL8 SpeakOns. The loudspeaker shall have 4 handles. The line array subwoofer shall have an integral rigging system. The front of the line array subwoofer shall be protected by a grill.

The line array subwoofer's enclosure shall be 22.1 in (56.1 cm) high, 27.0 in (68.6 cm) wide and 30.25 in (76.8 cm) deep. The loudspeaker shall weigh no more than 111.0 lb (50.4 kg).
