EQ Modes

K Series can be used in a wide variety of applications. Users of all types will benefit from the ability to optimize the fullrange models (K8, K10, K12) for a specific application with the simple flip of a switch.

Because fullrange music and speech reproduction place different demands on a loudspeaker system, the K Series High Frequency (HF) circuitry can be switched to either normal (FLAT) for fullrange, non-equalized music applications or (VOCAL BOOST) whereby frequencies in the vocal range are augmented for increased intelligibility and overall presence.


K Series Low Frequency behavior is selected by the LF switch. In the default (NORM) position, low frequency response is set for flat music reproduction in stand-alone, full range applications. When pairing any of the K Series models with a subwoofer, the LF switch is set to the (EXT SUB) position, engaging the 100 Hz High Pass Filter for error-free reproduction of frequencies surrounding the crossover point. For users seeking extra low frequency output without a subwoofer, switching to the (DEEP) position engages the proprietary QSC DEEP™ signal processing circuit. Low frequency content is enhanced far beyond what one would typically expect from a compact loudspeaker.
