K and KW Series

The New Standard for Installed Active Loudspeakers

The K and KW Series loudspeakers were designed not only for superior portable sound reinforcement but also as the New Standard for installed applications. You will find that with the following features, K and KW meet or exceed the expectations for installable active loudspeakers.

Contractor Features:

• Full powered catalog from 2-way 8", 10" 12", Wood 12", Wood 15", Wood, 3-Way, Dual 12" Sub, and Single 18" Sub.
• Designed for excellent speech intelligibility and live performance reinforcement. The complete series has advanced DSP tuning called Intrinsic Correction™ that generates a natural, smooth, and flat audio response. This achieves outstanding vocal and music reprodution with a consistent sound performance thoughout the line. You can "mix and match" the products within the same venue space.
• Multipurpose design for many installation applications: flown, floor wedge, and speaker stand.
• Professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
• Optimum dispersion coverage using DMT. This matches the high-frequency coverage angle to the natural coverage angle of the woofer at the crossover frequency. As a result, frequency response remains far more uniform across the entire audience area.

K-Series Suspension:

• Vertically using our M10 kits or optional yoke brackets.
• Horizontally using the optional yoke brackets.

KW- Series Suspension:

The KW122 has the following installation M10 suspension points:

• Two on the top
• Two on each side
• One on the rear
• The KW122 can be hung vertically via the top pick points with the rear pick point available for proper coverage angling. It can be hung horizontally using our KW122 Sus Kit. It includes two M10 forged eyebolts and a pull back bar. You can install M10 bolts in the pick points on either side so the horn can be flown to the inside or outside.

The KW152 and KW153 have the following installation M10 suspension points:

• Two on top
• Two on bottom
• Three on rear (one being a center pick point)
• The KW152 and KW153 can be hung vertically via the top or bottom pick points. This gives installers the ability to fly the loudspeaker upside down to avoid early relections from the HF waveguide if flown close to the ceiling while allowing the LF to couple to the ceiling for increased bass response. There are three rear pick point choices for proper coverage angle. It can be hung horizontally using either side's pick points so the horn can be flown to the inside or outside.

Energy Management and AC Power Highlights:

• Ultra-Low AC Draw/Super Efficient. All models can be run on a standard AC electrical circuit.
  (AC power consumption at 1/8 power: 100 VAC: 2.3 A, 120 VAC: 2.01 A, 230 VAC: 1.13 A)
• Energy Saving Standby Mode - "Instant ON" The power module comes out of "standby" faster than the latency of the DSP.
• Universal AC power supply for worldwide compatibility. Includes a locking power connector.

Remote Level Control:

• Remote Level Control - Control any number of K and KW loudspeakers with a simple wall controller. The subwoofer level can also be remotely controlled separately from your full range boxes.
  

Subwoofer Highlights:

• The low profile 18" subwoofer is designed to tuck away in soffits or under seating to increase the install appearance.
