Installing the PL3 patch - requires v2.3 of QSControl.net
1. Close Venue Manager if it is running
2. Stop the Venue Service if it is running
- Right-click the QSC icon in the system tray and select "Stop"
3. Unzip "QSControl.net v2.3 PL3 Support.zip"
Four files will be extracted:
- Basis.hex
- cm16aflash.s
- AmpList.xml
- Installing the PL3 patch.rtf (this document)
4. Replace Basis firmware file- Copy Basis.hex and cm16aflash.s to your QSControl.net server directory. The following directory is the default install location:
C:\Program Files\QSC Audio\QSControl.net\Server
5. Replace AmpList file
- Copy AmpList.xml to the QSControl.net Application and Server directories.
The following are the default install locations:
C:\Program Files\QSC Audio\QSControl.net\Applications
C:\Program Files\QSC Audio\QSControl.net\Server
6. Restart the QSControl.net service
- Right-click the QSC icon in the system tray and select "Start"

Run Venue Manager and update the firmware of all Basis & CM16a boxes
