EASE Focus for KLA, ILA & Wideline Line Arrays

The EASE Focus is a software that allows the modelling of acoustic sources, in particular line arrays, in two dimensions.  It only considers the direct field, created by the complex addition of the sound contributions of the individual loudspeakers or array components.

This version of EASE Focus is configured specifically for QSC's ISIS WideLine Array and QSC's ILA Installation Line Array

INSTALLATION NOTE: Before installing newer versions of EASE Focus or EASE Focus 2, you should backup all project files and non-QSC system definition files, uninstall the older version and delete the application directory. Installation Error Remedy (PDF)


NOTE: (Please Read below before you download)

Both EASE Focus programs (EASE Focus and EASE Focus 2) are current programs. You do NOT need to uninstall Ease Focus to install EASE Focus 2.
EASE Focus 2 is a three dimensional modeling program while EASE Focus 1 is only in two dimensions.
At this time, only our KLA line arrays are supported with EASE Focus 2. All other line arrays including ILA, WideLine-8 and WideLine-10 use EASE Focus only.

How to install EASE Focus v2
EASE Focus v2 is compatible with MS Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7. Please install the .NET framework 2.0 first. You can download the latest version from:

Note: If you have installed .NET 3.5 or .NET 4.0 already, the 2.0 version of .NET should not be needed because it is included in both.

Apple Macintosh: Currently, there is no version of EASE Focus v2 available for the Apple Macintosh platform. Please use tools like Parallels or Bootcamp in the meantime.

  • Support for extensions to EFO data file format

Download EFO Files
Download these files only if you have an existing EASE Focus installation and are missing these QSC data files. The package above will automatically install these files for you. Installation instructions: Extract the .efo files from the .zip archive and copy them to the System Definitions directory of your EASE Focus install and remove older versions.
