Costa Mesa CA – The entire line of QSC K Family loudspeakers have been nominated for ProSoundWeb’s Reader’s Choice Awards, in the categories of Portable Powered Loudspeakers and Subwoofers.

Ten different K Family models were nominated in all, including the K Series (K8, K10, K12 and KSub), KW Series (KW122, KW152, KW153 and KW181), as well as the newest K Family members, KLA12 fixed arcuate line array enclosure and accompanying KLA181 active subwoofer.

“To be nominated for a Reader’s Choice Award is always an honor for any manufacturer,” states Ray van Straten, QSC Director of Marketing Communications. “But for every model across three product lines to be nominated at the same time – that is truly remarkable in every way.”

The ProSoundWeb Reader’s Choice Awards (RCA’s) recognizes products catering to audio engineers in the live, installed and recorded sound industries. Industry professionals have the opportunity to cast one vote in each of 29 product categories. Voting ends at midnight on Friday, January 13, 2012, and winners will be announced at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, January 19-22, 2012. Parties interested in voting for their favorite K Family loudspeaker are encouraged to cast their vote here. Once the awards period has ended, the products will then become a part of the 2012 ProSoundWeb Buyer’s Guide.
