The K Family was built with an overarching goal -Create a loudspeaker line with all models sharing the same design and accuracy of sound. This allows models to be mixed and matched within any installation.
QSC's loudspeaker, amplifier and digital signal processing engineers worked in tandem, all under one roof, to create K Family active loudspeaker systems. All three model lines were designed to work together, ensuring perfect audio harmony and maximum performance. K Family loudspeakers’ finely calibrated DSP optimizes performance while also protecting the amplifier and transducers.
K Family eliminates the need for amp racks and air-conditioned amp rooms. Because everything is wired and temperature-controlled within each unit, users can eliminate hours of wiring and assembling custom amp racks, saving time and money.
A big advantage of utilizing K Family loudspeakers in an installation is their incredibly efficient power draw - a benefit of the Class D amplifier. This amp module is so efficient that up to five K Family loudspeakers can be powered from a single 15amp, 120 volt AC circuit. In periods of non-use, K Family loudspeakers automatically enter standby mode, making your installation energy efficient.
Integrated remote gain control allows a clean and simple method of controlling the output level of your K Family installation using just a simple 10k ohm wall mount pot.

K Family loudspeakers offer a number of flexible deployment options. All 2- and 3-way models feature integrated M10 fittings for flown applications. Two-way K-Series models can also be mounted to a wall, truss, ceiling beam, or other suitable structure via optional yoke mounts. KLA can be installed with or without the optional array frame.
