Our Purchasing Philosophy

"QSC Buys Relationships--Not Just Parts."

QSC relies heavily on its supply base recognizing that our success in delivering on-time, quality product to our customers is only as good as our supply chains ability to deliver on time, quality product to us. To ensure quality, delivery, performance and value from our supply chain, QSC prefers to limit the number of our supply chain partners. We attempt to limit our suppliers to no more than two per commodity. We believe this allows us to develop a relationship with our suppliers that proves beneficial to both of us.

Supplier Programs

Supplier Certification
QSC requires that all suppliers become certified within six months of beginning business with us. We expect your product to conform 100% to our agreed upon specifications. After you are certified, we perform no inspection on your product and deliver it directly to its point of use.

Forecasting
QSC provides all its suppliers with a 12 month forecast updated monthly. We believe offering this forecast allows our suppliers to do a better job of planning and execution.

Just in Time
QSC has several just in time programs with suppliers delivering weekly, 3 times per week, daily and twice daily. We also have suppliers who come and do bin stocking for us. In addition we offer a partnership program. Our partner suppliers are awarded at least 70% of our business in their commodity with multi year contracts. QSC currently has partners in sheet metal, printed circuit boards and packing material.
